Matzen an Däitschland gëtt et eng Stad, déi Hameln heescht. Hameln huet natierlech näicht mat Hamen ze dinn an och näischt mat Schof …an awer ass dës Stadt weltberühmt!

An dëser Stad sinn iwwerall Spillplaatzen, Äppelbeem, Glaceverkeefer …a Bänken, wou e sëch drop sëtze kann, wann dʼSonn schëngt. DʼLeit soën sech ënnerteneen Moien, wënschen sëch e schéinen Dag a bescheissen sech net allzevill hannert dem Réck.

Et wor an der Nuecht geschitt …a Moies, esu géint 8 Auer, biirelt de Bäcker Quetschekraut entsat:

« Meng Petit-Fouren? Meng Petit-Foure si verschwonn! »

De Metzler Theo kënnt als Zweete gelaf:« Meng Wirschterscher si fort. Alleguer ! Di gutt an och di manner gutt ! »

De ganze Gemengerod léet dʼStier a Faalen an mëcht sech vill Suergen.

In the middle of Germany lies a city called Hameln. Hameln is very small but world famous!

It is a peaceful citiy full of playgrounds, apple trees, ice cream shops, sunshine…and benches where you can sit. People say hello and try not to gossip too much.

It happened during the night…and in the morning, around 8 o’clock, de baker Quetschekraut howls: „My biscuits! My biscuits are all gone!“

He’s not the only one who’s missing food – the whole city of Hameln is upside down! The thief must be found!
